It was an honor this year to work for Senator Amy Klobuchar’s Presidential Campaign. Throughout my volunteer stint in IA and my employment stint in NV and NC, I was convinced that (i) she was the only candidate who could defeat Trump, and (ii) she would make the best president among the candidates running. In hindsight, I’m glad that she suspended her campaign when she did, just before Super Tuesday, since the events that were about to unfold – the pandemic and the killing of George Floyd – would have made it impractical to continue.

Notwithstanding this, because a campaign colleague had asked me back in February 2020 if I wanted to introduce Amy to a crowd of supporters at one of her campaign rallies, I wrote the following field pitch. Enjoy!
